Each year Ipswich Central business improvement district operate an awards scheme to help promote the local business scene. A list of the town’s best independent eateries was established and from a poll of more than 2,000 people, once again Alaturka Ipswich has scoped the “Best Restaurant” in Ipswich award.

Manager Semra Sahinoglu said: “We try our best to reach all the requirements of our customers and make them feel at home when they are with us. Everyone tells us how clean we are and how easy on the eye the restaurant is. Customers always comment on our decoration and interior, they often look around the restaurant and spot different things”.

Ipswich Central has also awarded us the Silver Award in 2018 for the “Best Dish” category, specifically for our Alaturka Spesiyal – you have to try it! It’s consists of lamb, chicken and meatballs laid on a bed of homemade bread with our in-house red sauce made of 12 vegetables and something else which must remain a mystery to us!
